Game Rules

Can you imagine what it’s like to survive a global catastrophe? I think not... That's exactly why "Bunker Online" was created, so you can experience it. Our game is very simple, and learning the rules won’t take much time! After your first game, you’ll fully understand how to play. We also recommend preparing a nice cup of tea or coffee, grabbing some cookies, and immersing yourself in the game!

How to Play Bunker — in Short

Bunker is a social deduction game for a group of 6 to 15 players. The premise is simple: a catastrophe has struck, there is a bunker nearby, but it only has room for half of you. Each player gets a random character and must convince the others that they are useful for the group's survival.

  1. Gather your players. Create a room right in your browser — free, no installation — and send your friends the link.
  2. Get your character. The game deals everyone a profession, health, hobby, phobia, inventory and other characteristics (see Character Specifications). At the start of the game they are hidden from the other players.
  3. Reveal your characteristics round by round and explain why you would be useful in the bunker (see Game Process).
  4. Discuss and vote. At the end of each round the players remove one person from the temporary camp (see Voting).
  5. Claim your spot in the bunker. The game lasts up to 7 rounds, until only those who fit inside remain. If you get in — you win (see Winning the Game).

The detailed mechanics of rounds, speeches and voting are covered below on this page.
